In addition to her work with Shane Donnelly in Denmark, Jane’s reputation as an outstanding fiddler, both on stage and in the studio has continued to grow on both sides of the Atlantic. Observed by an early critic as ’blessed with a sense of swing’, few who have heard her play would challenge that her ’gift’ translates through a diversity of styles from traditional Irish through rock & pop to blues, country and beyond. Whether performing Tex Mex music in Texas with the legendary Flaco Jimenez, traditional Irish music with fiddler John Sheahan of The Dubliners, extensive touring of Canada and her native UK with Canadian folk singer/songwriter James Keelaghan, recording for Danish rock band Baal, Spanish pop sensation Amaral, Danish guitar virtuoso Steffen Schackinger, World Music Award Winner Gimo Mendes or singer Marti Pellow of Scottish pop band Wet Wet Wet, Jane has come a long way since releasing her highly acclaimed solo CD ’Fiddler’ back in 1999. Her love and skill for writing tunes and string arrangements is as evident in her partnership with Shane Donnelly as in other areas of her work. More recently her original material is being used as a soundtrack for TV2 World’s Norwegian-based documentary 'Freediving with Killerwhales'. The beginning of 2008 sees Jane giving a course of fiddle workshops in New Zealand at The Whare Flat Festival.
